Leave food out for them all day if you can , they are young and growing they need all the nutrition they can get . You can feed a meal or two once they are fully grown , but most just leave food out .

They like a quiet corner to lay eggs , a box or a crate with straw would work ... they will find a place to lay if you don’t make them one
