What should I do with this goose

He should be put down, a wild animal is a wild animal and the only way he could have a quality life with a broken wing would be with a professional wildlife rehabilitator
Thanks for your opinion and it's very objective. However I think we don't get to decide what is a quality life for wild life. I've met some "professional" bird rehabilitators told me geese don't drink water... I've met many rehabilitators don't correctly interpret animal's body or vocal languages. I also met a broken-wing goose earlier which was not very happy earlier but later on found a niche in that ecosystem and lives happily now. Both human and animals are vulnerable to nature to disasters. We are no more special than animals. The only specialty about us is we are here talking about what is good for other species with diverse opinions.

A goose without one wing may not fly and I know it's wild and that it's it only defence but a goose with one wing can still swim and will always stay on that lake or river so you can see it every day

It might be more open to predators but you can be proud you helped him every time you see him.
Reason I'm saying this is because there is a greylag(another wild breed)gander with one wing in a lake near me and a vet helped him for whatever happened to that wing and him and two others stay with eachother over the winter.
But if his broken wing is badly infected or in a very bad state he is best to be put down but look at the information Miss Lydia gave you first!

Thanks for your support! I totally agree we should show some love and hope first before making a sensible decision.

And thanks everyone for your care again! I'll keep you updated!
