Thanks for your opinion and it's very objective. However I think we don't get to decide what is a quality life for wild life. I've met some "professional" bird rehabilitators told me geese don't drink water... I've met many rehabilitators don't correctly interpret animal's body or vocal languages. I also met a broken-wing goose earlier which was not very happy earlier but later on found a niche in that ecosystem and lives happily now. Both human and animals are vulnerable to nature to disasters. We are no more special than animals. The only specialty about us is we are here talking about what is good for other species with diverse opinions.He should be put down, a wild animal is a wild animal and the only way he could have a quality life with a broken wing would be with a professional wildlife rehabilitator
