What should I do?

I need to make a decision soon about Ethel, one of my not-so-healthy chickens.
Around 2 months ago, Ethel recovered from Sour Crop. I had to give her water and medicine through a syringe for a week.
Yesterday, I noticed she had it once again. Ethel hasn't laid an egg in about 8 months, so I believe reproductive issues are what is causing all of this.
She is useless to us. I need to decide whether to try getting her better or to... dispatch her.

Thoughts?

Her quality of life must be poor to suffer from reproductive disorders severe enough to cause sour crop. I think I'd lead her to the rainbow bridge.

If she is suffering from medical conditions over and over from reproductive issues, her quality of life isn't great so I would dispatch her.

Thanks everybody. This is the first time we've ever lost a chicken, let alone had to dispatch her, but what has to be done has to be done. Whatever is best for poor Ethel.
