OK. My chick starter says to start feeding layer pellets at 16 weeks which is fine for my sex links, but my Australorp and Silkie can't have that much calcium at that age.
So is it OK to feed chick starter/grower still and just provide oyster shell grit?
I have to keep on feeding chick starter to some younger chicks that I have and the younger ones are only 3 weeks and the older chicks are 12 weeks.
