what should i do?

I found out my two previous geese were ganders when breeding season started.

To begin with, there was just some synchronized swimming in the pool. The both grabbed on to the other one's neck and tried to mount, which resulted in them just going round and round. A little fighting, a little honking, but nothing violent.

Then one of them fell in love with his own mirror image in my windows. He'd spend all day by the windows, wooing his beautiful "spouse". Whenever the other gander got within a 10 foot radius, all hell broke loose. The other gander would be charged and chased far, far away, preferably out of the yard. Lots of screaming and large feathers flying. I covered up all the windows, so he couldn't see his image. That immediately took care of the problem, and the two ganders could again enjoy each other's company in peaceful bliss.

Just to show that even imaginary females can be a problem.

its a bad pic and his knob is getting larger and larger
Yes, it´s hard to see as it´s a bit distant, maybe you can get a closer pic of them both?
well i never did compare the pics side by side, chatter does happen to have the white face known in female pilgrims which may have mislead me if this is the case then i need to figure out what species she is.
Pilgrim females have a white face at most, usually just white spectacles around the eyes... the rest of them is just grey. and a light grey, too. Yours is a pied, and dark grey. What colour is its bill? Can you get a closer pic?

That is hilarious.

I did get them at the feed store i was under the impression that they are pure . They are at my grandprents because my dad thinks they are stinky so no pics until this weekend.
did you get them in a feed store? Is it supposed to be a breed, or could it be a mix?  I ask, because it doesn´t seem to match up to any breed that I can think of.  Let´s hope you have a pair, at least.  Any gd pics coming?
i did find some pics of pied pomeranian geese that looked similar to my goose.

Oh, your dad thinks they´re stinky? They´re not as stinky as chickens or ducks. I actually don´t find them stinky at all. they do poop a lot, though!

Poms are BIG geese, bigger than chinese, they have blue eyes and pinkish bills. They come in various colours, including the saddleback form. Here´s a pic of a grey saddleback Pom:

Here´s a pic of Normandy geese:

And shetlands. these two breeds are a lot smaller than the Poms, but they also have the saddleback pattern. Cottonpatches and west of England also can have it.

There´s a Pom thread on here. Have you asked on there what their opinions are?
But whatever the breed, enjoy your geese!

He thinks they smell because he can smell "them" when he pullin to my grandmas yard, they are right next to my seven chickens. In other news the chinese is very territorial to my chickens. Alsk the shetland looks the closest to mine.
