What should I expect out of my muts?

I have a broody hatching 8 eggs at the moment. Mom is barred rock/Cochin mix, and dad is an olive egger.

If the mother has barring then that chick with the white dot is a boy.

Unless the father also has barring.

The hen does have barring. Here's mom and dad.

Oh okay. So if all the chicks are from those two parents then any chick with a white dot on the head (white dot indicates barring) is a boy. No dot = girl.
