What should I name a black and kinda of white chicken?

Pepper...sprinkle...dotty?...or something completely unrelated, like wilma or lizzy.

Name it chicken, that way you don't have to remember a different name for each bird, makes sense to me. All of my birds are named chicken, except for the ones named rooster and some are named hens.

We ask kids to name our chickens. We don't have our own kids so we recruit friends and family. We've had great names so far and it gets the kids interested in urban farming.

I know this is completely unrelated to black or white but, my kids were talking about names earlier and I came up with one I liked. There is a farm down the road from us called Hollinshed Farm. I think Hollin would be cute. Do you know if it is a boy or a girl?
