I like to name mine after physical features. Like an OE with laced feathers on her neck is Lacey. An orange hen with green legs is names Pepita. (The green inside of a pumpkin seed) A chicken with a misshapen eyelid got the name Crazy-Eye. Not especially creative, but memorable and fun. Good luck!
