what should i name my Muscovy drake!

  1. im getting a lavender muscovey drake tomorrow and was wondering what i should call it any suggestions welcome!

    I don't name mine as they are raised for meat but I do have identifiers for them. I have different colored zip ties on most of my female birds left legs so that I can keep track of when they start laying, broodiness, mothering ability etc. So I have chickens, ducks and geese named Orange, Green, Blue and Pink. Don't know if that helps. [​IMG]

    If I were going to name him, I'd probably wait to see his personality. Although I have been known to name pets opposite of what they are. Shadow for a white dog, Echo for a deaf dog etc.

    Well i have an Ernie use to have a Bert, then our next in line is Opie, and our last is Andy. I would consider Barney but I don't want anymore drakes.
