My welsh harlequins have been great layers and I like their temperament and appearance. Their eggs taste good (to us, anyway) and are bigger than chicken eggs, but not huge.

My runners are so funny and beautiful and the girls are all doing such a good job of laying! I've gotten 125 eggs so far in March. I too like spreadsheets @WannaBeHillBilly!

All 4 of my girls were laying pretty regularly all winter but the last 2 weeks I am only getting 2 eggs a day.

For a little different spin on the Magpie with some runner mixed in, I’m partial to Anconas. Nonstop entertainment, sweet disposition and good layers.

I’m super jealous of those gorgeous Welsh Harlequins too
