I should've been a cowboy.


No, really - I should have.

I am a "self-retired" long-time cop. I should have been:
1.- Smarter about "love" instead of being young, dumb, and stupid.
2.- A park ranger or an archaeologist
3.- Born about 100 yrs. earlier (though they never would have put up with me having an opinion and doing my own thing regardless of the way women were supposed to behave at the time)

I'm happy. I learn something about myself everyday. I'm a good Mom (he's 23), a good friend, and generally a good person all around. Really I guess I came out just the way I was supposed to be after all.
