What size cage for quail?

Where are you located? In many places it is illegal to keep them without a permit, so you might consider contacting your local wildlife rescue.

If the quail is injured, it should be fine in a hospital cage of about 3 square feet, but that should be temporary.

I am i am in Oregon. And my friend dumped on me when her cat had it.... It is a valley quail and it is a Fledgling. It is to tame to bring to a shelter, i will eat right out of a hand and follows me every where. the quail is un injured it is in a 2 bye 3 cage and is 3 feet tall

That will do for now. Checking OR law, it looks like you'll need a license to keep your bird. Quail are social creatures, and it will not be happy alone, so you'll either need to rehabilitate it to the wild or get some more to keep it company. You could also rehome it with someone who already has some.
