Hi, have a young (maybe 13-14wk) Blue Copper Maran / Legbar cross. Which of the breeds is 'dominant' in a cross like this, will she grow to the size of a Maran but with Legbar characteristics or stay smaller as a Legbar but looking more like a Blue Copper Maran please ?

Her size will be between Legbar and Marans, whether she favors one in size depends upon the individual.
As for the color and shape, she will be similar in color to the Marans, but the shape will be in between both breeds.
Assuming the Marans is the father...
She will be gold birchen (also known as black copper) or blue gold birchen (also known as blue copper, but with the cream dilution, so the “copper” will be more washed out than a Marans. She will likely have more red on her body than a Marans as well.
She will have feathered legs and a crest.

If the Legbar was the father, she will have all these traits except she will also be barred.

Thanks for the information.
She's pretty small at the moment but reckon it's her age, as you can see she has the beautiful well defined 'blue' patterned feathers, the copper necklace and crest but her legs are totally 'bald' ?
Apparently she was badly bullied by a rooster before we got her, hence the purple antiseptic spray on her back (some feathers from her back pulled out and a hard scab). She's still quite nervous but becoming a lovely natured friendly bird.
