I only have four pullet chicks (I sure hope they're pullets): 1 RIR, 1 Ameraucana, 1 Plymouth Rock - Barred, and 1 Brahma.

I've had them an entire week, now, and I love them. I wonder if getting more would take away the amount of affection for each? But I can see how easily it would be to get JUST two more....

Well, "my" flock is 13 Red Sussex Cross pullets on the verge of laying...I keep telling myself.... But as of today I am flock-sitting over winter, 6 Ameraucanas (or maybe they're "just" Easter-Eggers), a silver-laced Wyandotte, and a gold-laced Wyandotte, all hens, in my backyard coop. I can have the eggs if they lay any.

Note...by spring all but the Serama's and Langshans will be sold.

14 in the barn (I split a 14 by 12 stall into 2 1/2 coops)

coop #1
4 Black star pullets (should lay within 2 weeks)
1 Andalusion hen (was an oddball given to me)
1 5 mos old EE Roo (needs a home)

coop #2
3 NH Red pullets (1 hen just started to lay, 2nd ever today)
2 Silver laced wyandottes (4mos) lower level
1 Buff Orpington (also 4 mos)

coop 1/2, lol
2 Serama Roo's brothers and about 10 mos

21 chicks in house! (spare bedroom) Note...they will be moved next week to the 'shop' above the barn since there is a furnace up there if necessary.

7 Serema chicks (2 are 7 weeks, 5 are 3 days old)...not together
3 RIR pullets (3 wks)
3 Barred Rock pullets (3 wks)
6 Black Langshan pullets (3 weeks)
