I can do that. I had read on numerous (like, dozens) sites and talked to a pond builder who all said the bog filter should be at least 1/3rd the size of the pond with lots of plants, added barley, and at least 2 waterfalls. I was going to go with a bog filter 1/2 the size of the overall pond. But I think I'll just buy one of those 8'x8'x2' stock tanks. We are in a severe drought, so I was hoping to conserve water. But as usual, I'm wrong.Filter on a duck pond needs to be huge. i don't even bother with one. Mine is 12'x4'x15" 3 call size ducks and 2 Rouen. Drain and refill weekly
