When I make an apple pie with the grannys I gave the peels and cores to the girls and they just walked by like what do you want us to do with that, and believe it or not I dug up some big juice earth worms and they wouldn't even touch them, is that crazy or what. Now they like grits (cooked) and raw oatmeal, loves any kind of melons and salad stuff oh except honeydew melons. I don't give them any kind of citrus read somewhere it is one of the no,no foods. Oh yeah mine love meal worms.
of course they like corn! It is one of the main ingredients in Scratch feedCornbread is a great idea. Do you know if they like just corn? Mine love tomatoes, and seem to drink the pulp. It is really hot here now so I am giving them an afternoon snack of cut tomatoes, which are in season at the moment and plenty of them.
