What song for recitle?

    I am a piano player, level 2. I MIGHT get to play at a collage, so what song should i play!? It would be in March or April next year. So i have alot of time to work on it! So what do you think?

    Bach's Two-Part Inventions are a wonderful challenge for level 2. I started with Invention in d-minor when I had been playing about 3 years. F-major and C-major were good ones, too.

    Gymnopedie by Erik Satie are also good, and completely different (!) from the baroque era.

    Finger-twisting fun, but not as hard as the 2-part inventions:
    Solfeggietto by CPE Bach is great!
    Spinning Song by Albert Elmenreich.

    If you need something from the modern era, Evening in the Country by Bela Bartok is a little melancholy, but not dramatic.
