What sort of protection would help chickens out in the open field?

Like my rescued pup, there's a gamble to lower cost pups but... If that's all ya got it's all ya got. Sure it'd be nice to always buy best bred animals but there are times practical has to work.

Do ask your vet and area vets (including livestock vets) who has PYRs. Lots of people are having trouble selling Pyr litters now due to feed costs. Some research should yield pups or dogs you can afford.

Mine is too young and was too sick to go outside but she's already showing she'd rather be out there more often than not.
