What sound does the peafowl make...

...when its holding its mouth open and its throat is pumping quickly in and out, as in this video? I've never seen this before. I'm curious! Thanks.

I would try but there is no audio playing on my computer for some reason. It looks like a bit of anxiety to me.

Thanks for your reply. The video is mute - I wondered whether you could advise based on the video with no sound. Do Peacocks generally make a sound when they move their throats/beaks like this or is it silent?

If it is panting they make no noise, if it is in distress it will be making noise.

Panting - I think it must be that. Seems obvious now, but I didn't realise they panted. Thanks
