I got a dozen eggs off Craigslist as barnyard mix any ideas?

Well, the species is chicken. The breed (which is what I think you're looking for) is mixed. I see evidence of black copper marans, maybe a barred rock, maybe lavender orpington... You'll honestly have to wait for them to feather out so we can get a better idea of what's there. The other thing you can do is contact your seller and see if they can let you know what breeds they do have.

If you bought the eggs as a 'Barnyard Mix' then they're all probably mixed breeds. I also agree that contacting the seller is the best idea if you want to get a better idea of what you have.
