I'm not a trivia nerd; I'm a hands on nerd. I put a Mazda 13B rotary engine into a 71 VW Beetle, a 1.9 liter diesel out of a VW Rabbit into an 86 Suzuki Samurai, a 4bt Cummins into an 86 CJ7, a Mercedes 240D engine and transmission into a 47 Ford truck, and a Chevy small block and 700r4 tranny into another 47 Ford truck. Plus helping friends, neighbors and family (and a few strangers) with mechanical issues pretty regularly. My neighbor says the "bat signal" is to leave the hood open. He told me he sometimes does it just so I'll come over for a beer.
