It is 44 here in East Texas with a high tomorrow of 51. It has rained for the last couple of days and is anticipated to rain tomorrow. Overall, cold and dreary. When I went to give the chickens their bedtime snack, they looked positively downcast. I know they can't wait for the sun to shine again. Was it only last week I was complaining about having to mow in February in 71 degree weather?

We are having a very mild winter compared to normal. But it fluctuates to say the least in the mountains. It was 65 last week. Tomorrow's high is 22 with a windchill of 5 forecasted. It can drop 50 degrees in 24hrs

It's 19°, 5 mph wind. This morning it was -18°, so +19° sounds pretty darned good to me!

I read that lots of California & Washington folks are moving to Texas because it doesn't charge income tax.

I wonder if some cities don't get tornadoes or hurricanes or rattlesnakes.
