Hello everyone! My name is Jim and my wife (Cheryl) and I live in north Georgia! We're live on 3 acres in the woods and have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 goats and a love for animals.
With current times and situations and the fact that I have been pestering my wife for years to get some chickens we finally jumped in!
We got six chicks from TSC. 3 Golden Comets and 3 Black Asians. We have been doing everything by the book and they are six weeks old and we are having a blast! I got some free plans off the internet and I am finishing up the coop and run this week!
Side note::: Last week after I had got the frame up for the run and got everything stained two chickens come strutting out the woods, walked across my yard, hopped in the run and haven't left, not my chickens! All are welcome on or property as long as everyone gets along. Probably my neighbors next property over and they don't take care of their animals so now I got 8!!!
