What the heck are my ducks?

These 2 are the babies of a khaki Campbell hen and a peking drake. These are the only 2 that survived, but all of the chicks looked similar with the striped head. So, what breed would they be considered? The mother did not have any blue feathers, but as you can see, both the male and the female do.

Gorgeous farm yard ducks. Cross bred vigor will probably make you're female an excellent layer. The blue is from the KC. But I'm worried about your ratio.
Yes, me too. I had several females and 1 male, now I have 2 males and something has snatched all but 1 of my females, including this girl. I think it's hawks :( can't even shoot them.
I will get more girls once I figure this predator problem out. They're not trying to mate right now, so I have a bit of time.

Are you finding remains? Ducks are too heavy to fly with so hawks roll them over and eat the tasty bits. If they are just missing one at a time its likely coyote or bobcat during the day. I assume you lock them up at night.

No remains. Not even very many feathers. I am missing a rooster too. I just found out that there is a pair of horned owls nesting eight up the road from me. Could be them also. A coyote wouldnt be able to come near my yard bc of my dogs. But, a fox could be just sneaky enough, or a bobcat. I'm on the lookout, but I'm not sire there is much I can do. I am going to buy a couple of motion lights for their respective yards. Hopefully, that will scare some stuff away.
