These guys wandered into our yard a week ago and need a home. They run like the road runner. Can anyone tell me what they are? I have some other pictures if you need them.
Thank you for your time.

Welcome to BYC!

Yes, Ringneck Pheasants! Gorgeous birds! Pheasant tend to wander and could have gotten lost. You will need to get them some gamebird or turkey feed for them. Most pheasants are not really approachable and you will have trouble corralling, most likely. The will no doubt sleep in the trees. If you can't find their owners and really want to keep them, you will need to build a large coop with high roost bars and a large run. You could rangle them in eventually.

And yes, stop by the pheasant section here on BYC for lots of tips and help on keeping these birds. Very pretty!

The one on the far left is not a ringneck pheasant, but some sort of cross bread domesticated bird. Those are definitely somebody's pets or show birds. The other two are ringnecks.

Beautiful birds, when we first moved here over 40 years so, we had pheasants in the yard, and bob whites which, was quite exciting for city raised people. Then the land got built up and poof, they are all gone.
