What the heck did they eat?

Okay, went to clean out the coop and found PINK poo. What the h***?

What could they have gotten into that made their poo pink...we're talking bright neon pinky purple. Pokeberries, maybe?

What do you think? They seem fine...should I worry?

Mine have eaten them, they aren't dead so I imagine they know when the right time is to eat the berries and not be affected by toxins.

Old wise ones say that it helps with intestinal worms.

those things are all over the place here. I'm pretty sure I ate them once when I was little. And I definitely know I squished and smeared them all over the place (aka on my face).

haha mine ate berries and the same thing happened for weeks they all had pink poo and purple poo and pink poo with purple chunks (the berries--musta swallowed some whole)

Okay, I feel better now....I let them free range when it's not yucky outside and they like to go into the woods behind the house (we have 3 acres) and they have the opportunity to get into all sorts of stuff.

We don't free range here because of too many predators so have had ant psychadelic pooh from the gang. I'm positive that it would have freaked me out, too!
