What the heck happened

my month old buff cochin bantam hen ws acting strange so I picked her up and everything seemed fine and then she kept running and fallings over and wasn't able to get up, I took her out of the pen and it wasn't five minutes later and it had died, what the heck happened

It is very possible. She might have had some kind of defect that just showed up.

so sorry for your loss. It is never easy to lose an animal and even harder to watch it happen.
