Beautiful birds! What fantastic coloring. I am way too new at this to make any guesses, but I love the info that has been shared!

New pictures of Molly and Arrianne since they started laying. Their penciling is becoming even more defined and their faces have lost most of the black and have reddened up so much in just the last two weeks. Still lovely as ever, I think. Have I mentioned that I would LOVE to recreate this pattern?!?

Final update on my mystery girls:

Things haven't worked out with our rooster. (i.e. he's driving me NUTS) We are to have no hatching eggs. And since they aren't the best layers of the flock, they are destined for someone else's coop. Hope they bring a decent price since we've sat on them for so long waiting to mate them. Wish Molly and Arrianne good luck! If they don't sell Wednesday at the flea market, then they will be off to the auction next Friday.
