I got a Prairie Bluebell Egger and a Sapphire Gem from my farm store a few months ago. One of them turned out to be a rooster. The one I thought was the Sapphire Gem appears to be the Prairie Bluebell (I assume this because she has muffs). Sapphire Gems are sex-linked so I would be surprised if the rooster was indeed a Sapphire Gem. I think he is something else put in the wrong bin?

The gray one is the one in question. I'll try and get some more photos of him today.

Sapphire gems are blue sexlinks, and unfortunately they're a bit harder to tell male from female if they're a light blue since the headspot blends in

He is almost 8 weeks

Lol, I know he's a he, I just wasn't sure if he was indeed a Sapphire Gem.

Go figure I end up with a sex linked breed that's a rooster lol
