I've had rats in the coop before and they don't look anything like that, opossums will kill chickens on occasion though so beware! Since it appears to be young, I really don't think there's a risk yet.

It looks like an opossum to me.

Possums like eggs. They will often come into my turkey run to eat the eggs out of the ground nests they make.

I don’t know if My eyes are playing tricks on me. The pic with my cat look under the coop is that a fox or something else. In all the pics there’s something under the house
