scared it off

But the nose isn’t short? In the first photo it’s facing the camera and you can’t see its snout.I’m having trouble with the possum theory. The only thing that says possum is the animals right ear in the second photo. Everything else shouts weasel family to me. Weasel, mink, Fisher, ermine, etc. the nose is so short and the body profile is so low and stout. Possums aren’t shaped like that really.

There’s no mustelid with that color anyway. It’s got a white body with dark ears, exactly like a possum.

Anytime! This goofy possum should be on one of those optical illusion tests.Ok I see it now. I wasn’t thinking of the chain link and I saw the break in the middle of the nose. Squint your eye and the end of the nose looks like it’s the front left leg taking a step forward. Absolutely young possum. Thank you for the outline!!!
