Howdy everyone,
Just a 2+ month update on Almondina’s condition.
To date, she hasn’t laid another lash egg. Yay!
She’s eating normally (albeit still at the bottom of the pecking order ;-)). She eats organic pellets enriched with bugs, and kitchen scraps. Mostly veggie cuttings and watermelon rinds.
She just molted and has been standing so proud with her new glossy wing and tail feathers!
We don’t see any of her blue eggs anywhere. I’m not sure if she stopped laying, or if she eats the eggs before we see them. I have a feeling that she may have just stopped laying.
