What the heck is wrong with my Rooster’s waddle??

Mum thinks it’s frost bite, I thought he was doing something gross and got poo on his waddle, turned out to be a scap!

Does anyone know what might have caused it, he’s housed with another Rooster, but his roommates to afraid to fight him, so I don’t think it’s that, they’re both great buds,

Here’s some pictures, they aren’t great, but he really didn’t wanna pose,

If it's frostbite, it will harden, turn black, and fall off eventually, like a scab.

Could he have stuck his head through the fence and caught his wattle on it? A scrape, maybe? Combs and wattles are very blood rich tissue, so they can bleed and forma scab from a minor injury.

The chicken wire in the fence is way to small for him to have fit his head through, it sounds and looks more like frostbite than anything
