The little one whose goo dried all over it will fluff out as the fuzz falls and is replaced by feathers, so should be different in a few days. You can dab it off with a washcloth in warm water or just wait for that.

I have wasted (according to DH) an entire day today, pretty much just playing with little chickies! It's been almost a year since we've had wee ones around. And nearly 4 years since we've had more than 3 at a time. I almost forgot how much fun it is to have a whole bunch of fuzzy butts around!
But, I think even DH has been bitten by this Hatching Bug....He just said to me a few minutes ago..."Hey! Why don't we try hatching some of the eggs from Griffin and the girls in a few weeks?" I was stunned!!
I couldn't believe that those words came out of his mouth! Well, I guess that just goes to show that even the toughest of old salts can have a soft spot in them!
