i'm thinking it was a coon they can be brownish and bold if u ran off a fox it wont be back for a bit. but coons aren't as skidish

Honestly? It depends on what kind of predator you are dealing with, and how despirate they are.

lol don't shoot it unless your gonna kill it yea u might scare it off but then the animal is gonna suffer if it gets an infection and slowly it dies. I'm no animal rights person but don't shoot unless its to kill.

DF wants to do 2-3 pump so it'll just sting. It own't pierce the skin, I'd personally prefer just to kill it.

Depends on the pellet gun and the Beeman Pellet Gun I own will dispatch animals up to dog size with a good shot. The cheap ones are actually pretty powerful as well, but the ones made for hunting work best. We have close neighbors so have been using a pellet gun for predators for years instead of a .22 and it woks just as well within it's range.
