Okay, I'm totally technologically illiterate so maybe that's why I'm confused. The laptop I usually use to come here is temporarily down so I decided to go on my husbands brand spanking new Imac to get here. (My first time...he's watching boxing! lol) Well, I didn't have BYC bookmarked, of course, and so I just typed in www.backyardchickens.com and came to the forum that way. Of course I wasn't logged in since this was the first time I used this computer and, when I tried to log in, it not only asked for my user name but, also, my password. HUH??!! Never was asked that before when I had to log in on the laptop and couldn't recall it. So I had to ask for a new password - which I got - BUT the forum is NOT the same!!! I wanted to check a thread I started in "What Breed is This?" and there were only 5 or 6 threads there, none of which were mine. Everything looks foreign! waaaaaaahhhhh! I just want my old familiar BYC forum and family. And, when the stupid laptop is working again, have I screwed things up since I got a new password or will I be able to proceed as usual?? MAN, I wish I was more knowledgeable about such things but :sigh: I guess I'm an old dog that you can't teach new tricks to.
