Hi All,

Since I have had chickens and discovered how well they are at voiding my gardens of all bugs and how
much their shaving have helped my small garden grow we have decided to expand with their help. So
earlier this spring we started adding to our Edible Landscaping in our back yard. The ladies
loved the tilling of the ground because it brought all the worms to the surface where they had
a big meal. Anyway, I just wanted to share some pics of our Edible Landscaping that both us and
the ladies are really enjoying.

Berry Row. Each row has 15 bushes. Consisting of Blueberry, Raspberry, and Blackberry.

Wildflower Garden. Flowers should be blooming soon.

Loaded with Blueberries!!!!

And...this is what makes it all worth it. The ladies get plenty of the berries too. They love to hunt
and peck in Berry Row.

Wow, I wish I was one of your chickens. They have it made!

Your hard work certainly shows. Your yard is beutiful. I love the idea of the hanging flower basket in the run. I never thought to do that. I'll have to plant something in there now.

Thanks, when we built the coop and pen I wanted to make their home something that I would like to live in.
So I painted it and made it as homey as possible. My house is decorated in Country Americana so I carried
that theme out to their home.

Hanging baskets not only looks wonderful but it softens the look of the wood. Just make sure that you hang them out
of their reach otherwise they will eat the decor.

Wow! A lot of sweat went into that back yard! Absolutely gorgeous!

Yes it did. I think I am the most tan that I have even been since we started working on the garden.
The ladies love it and had a great time following the tiller getting worms. I should have taken a picture
of that but did not think about it at the time.

How is Stan the Man?? He is such a Handsome boy.

Hi All,
The ladies had some free range time last night amongst all the gardens and bushes. I snapped a few pics to share.
