What the what is this little girl??

I agree, those wattles at 6 weeks old strongly suggest "she" is a HE and those heavy shanks add to that theory. I'm not personally familiar with Delaware but the markings on this bird would point in that direction, since it appears to be barred Columbian pattern.
That would make so much sense! Little bugger is feisty, I double down on my snuggles just to irritate her. I shall love you to death I say!!!
When I first got him her the patches were much worse, doing better now and is kinda in charge of the brooder.
I was worried we might of bought his her bully(ies) but everyone gets along very well.
I'll have to post more as Jack gets older...
 
He's a tiny tim Delaware! Too small to breed but I might try to show him to get some conversations going with passer-bys, I'm still trying to find other delaware owners.
Glad I didn't name him Bertha....
