I was collecting the other eggs and in the far nest box, was that.

I immediately knew what was going on. I had seem them here before I took over officially, so my first thought was "cool!"

I suspect it's one of my little black hens, as they are the youngest of the flock.....

egg malfunction!!!!! no big deal she is just getting into the swing of laying. If it keeps up add more calcium to her diet oyster shell or crushed egg shells.

Slightly OT - If you want to see something extremely weird, soak an egg in a glass of vinegar overnight. Make sure the vinegar covers the entire egg.
