What things do i feed my hen that are high in calcium ?

The Ca content of anything except oyster shells and egg shells is tiny. For example to get enough for an egg from collards, each hen should eat a few lbs of collard a day. So give them one of those two, possibly both. I myself get my Ca from pulverized egg shells in my smoothie.

Can i use spinach if i don't have collards ?

I totally agree with all the great suggestions to date.

Just wanted to add that with the oyster shell it is recommended to not mix it in with their feed and just have it on hand in a separate dish. They know when they need it and will peck at it accordingly. Because of broodiness and moulting in the flock, I only have one girl laying at the moment and she is the only one eating the shell.

My gals love yoghurt and yep, plain Greek.

I also feed mashed boiled eggs, shell included.

By experience do you know how long till the calcium kicks in and she starts laying healthy eggs?

Since you said she is new to egg laying, what I said in my earlier post holds true - even with all of the calcium you provide, her assembly line will start running correctly when she's just good and ready for it. So taking that into account, there is no exact number of days or hours we can tell you to start looking for normal shells. Relax - it'll happen, and you got a ton of good ideas for supplements to her diet.
