What? Three days with ZERO eggs?! I don't get it?!

My hens stopped laying completely a little less than two weeks ago.

Two days ago, we found them covered in fowl pox pustules, all over their combs.

So make of that what you will. We're buying vaccine for our 6 week old chicks so hopefully they won't get it. I'm hoping our hens resume laying after the month or so it takes them to recover from the illness.

I have one of my six that hasn't laid for over a week. It's good to see others are experiencing this too, not just me. And mine was my EE who's the only colored layer, a nice olive green w/brown speckles

They were just born in April so seems early to molt, hopefully just the weather. She seems healthy still.
