What time do your girls lay?????

I have almost 40 girls that started laying 2 weeks ago... They have one special place in the back coop that they "all" like to set in. They start around 9:00 am and continue up till around 1:00 pm. My girls will line up on the ladder to wait their turn for the "special" spot in the coop. When all of em start laying, the time may be extended if they all fall in love with the same spot!!

This is similar to my experience. I have had eggs as early as 6:15 am and as late as 4:00 pm. I get 4 eggs most days out of my 4 pullets, but every once in a while one will take the day off and then start early the next day. The first eggs for each of them happened to be in the afternoon. They weren't really regular in the first couple of weeks.

We have 6 pullets/hens. I let them out between 8-8:30 every morning. No eggs. I check on them before lunch, no eggs. When I go back around 2pm, there's usually 1-3 eggs, and one is warmer then the others. Today, when we went to sit with them after dinner, there was another egg. Four in one day!
They've only been laying for about a month, and steady for only 2 weeks. At first we had to go out and check every hour because they would step on or toss the eggs; they were laying at all different times and places. Now it seems that everybody is getting in sync. Thank goodness!
