What Time Does Your Peas Lay Eggs?

Since peahens lay eggs at the age of two, can we say that they are mature ? though very rare, even yearlings lay eggs, TRUE. It is said on this forum, that males with at least one eye in his tail feathers at the age of two can fertilise a few eggs Some people reported males developing unusually long tails even as yearlings. Can he fertise the eggs ??? That is very uncommon. But, all males get full tail at age 3, and he is fully mature, capable of successfully breeding with 4-5 hens , I learnt from this forum.

I only got a few eggs when my hens were two, so I would have to say that *mine* were not mature until they were three, but I guess one could have mature two year olds?

So at age 3, the male's tail won't grow any longer? :idunno

I wonder what is the longest peacock tail in the world. I would love to see a pic of that boy.

I read on this forum that male tail reaches its fullest length at age 4-5. After that the length stays constant for the rest of his life
