What time of day do chickens lay eggs?

Mine lay between 8am and 4pm occasionally I might get one later than that.

Our's lay anytime from when they get up until just before bedtime. Some day's we have all our eggs before noon, other day's they will be spread out all day. Go figure!

mine have always been finished by 10AM-ish.
They are all black sex-links, wonder if the breed makes any difference?
