Believe me, I'm not into killing my chickens. In fact, I've only culled one rooster for temperament. The methods were all tried and he just got worse. There's nothing wrong with trying something as a last ditch effort, but then a decision must be made about him. If someone else wants a nasty acting rooster, I'll gladly give mine to them, but 9 times out of 10, you can't even give away the nice ones! A nasty rooster is a danger to everyone, especially young children and temperament is heritable. Everyone's opinion is welcome here, but some simply do not have resources to keep roosters that have no purpose and are a danger to humans--it isn't about being "into" killing our birds. The OP must make their own decision about this issue but has both sides of the issue covered here to draw from.
