what to do for poor Sissy head shaking, wont stay on roost, looks like tremors or seizures

she hasnt been healthy for a long time. she has had breathing problems for months as well as her sis..
you can hear her brething from a distance.... I assumed it was damage from ash dust from feather dusting year or so ago... Stopped doing that when I realized straight ash could be hurting them
She is one of 10 girls and the ROO...in 2 DIFFERENT COOPS
she is over 2 years BARR ROCK old......she has had runny poo off and on for quite a while
no egg layer I believe for a while too
she free ranges.
they get Organic egg layer and later some mixture of various seed like buckwheat,quoia, flax,oats,split peas. today I gave them rest of the canned Mackrel and juice with added little oatmeal.. Usually I dont give them the liquid from canned fish.. I strain it out.or pour it off. I did that today to get them to finish off their leftover seed crumbles and feed additive. later on some sunflower seeds...
last nite I noticed she wasnt up on her roost. I picked her up and put her up there .. not far just couple feet up is their roost
I dont know if she got back down. I forgot to tell Hubby about her whe he went out with their feed and clean water( everyday) this morning
Tonight she did the same.. I put her back up on roost. While later on I went out and checked. She was on floor again....
then I noticed she was breathing even harder than usual and l kept stargazing and twisting her neck and flopping around....
Got on here and did a lot of reading... just later checked on her again with flashlight she was quiet and looked okay...... Then went out just now she scratching around on floor looking up and trembling...
I did the poultry checker symptoms could be lots of things.. even gape worms.
we did the Valzaban months ago.. Hard to do cause she scares us so several times she chokes or swallows wrong.
Hubby gave two doses of that Eperinex (ivometin type) . 05 ml on her neck and all the rest of them, too
prob 10 days to 2 weeks apart between the TWO doses....
I am scared she is not going to make it...
I dont know if she hit her head lately, or has Gape worms or got into something I dont know about
she also seems scared.....the other 3 are on the roost in the one coop....just cardboard on the pine floor since I cleaned out that coop and sprayed it weeks ago. I havent put back the big rubber old mat and new pine chips yet....
we thought about giving her a dose of Nutri drench but it so LATE right now midnight here
I offred her some water but she ignored it...
please suggetions...to help her
it is now 12. 27 am and checked on her again she is still on the fllor in a diff spot just I guess trying to sleep
If have to have a nepropsy it will be lots of trouble .. to drive the 40 miles away to a vet that would send out the body

It is hard to tell what is going on with her. A chronic fungal infection with aspergillosis could be affecting her breathing as well as her neurological system causing tremors, but a respiratory disease such as MG or an ear infection could cause head shaking. Sometimes a diagnosis is not possible without a necropsy after death. You can do one on your own, such as opening the belly, intestines, and gizzard, and looking at the liver, heart, and kidneys for anything unusual (differnt colors or a white residue on organs. Gapeworm can be seen as Y-shaped red small worms in the trachea or breathing tube. Take pictures and post them here so that others can help you figure out what might be the problem.

well shes still alive. Hubby said she came out this morning and was a bit wobbly. shes been with the rest all day. I tried to take her to Hubby for a "nutri-drench" and she kept avoiding me.....hard to catch in on 1/2 acre area...
Later tonight she was on the poop bd... I picked her up and Hubby gave her Nutri drench...
I put her on the roost. I chcked on her several times tonight she was there the 3 or four times. then about 9>30 checked on her and she on floor. on clean cardboard..... i should have laid her on poop bd tray where its clean..
Instead I left her..so she wouldnt stress out she so skinny has always been but I saw her eating some today. but she didnt partake of the afternoon seed mixture. Maybe cause she thought I was trying to pick her up
how can I tell if she has an ear problem?

It might be best to get some Durvet or SaveAChick poultry electrolytes to put in the whole flock's water. Scramble an egg for her, and in the evening when she is on the roost, let her eat it out of a small bowl or plate in your hand. They also love feed mixed with water and a little yogurt or buttermilk.

take pictures of what? she seems okay during day. But I am not around them all day. she has been getting on the roost herself everynight. Hubby gave her anothr .05 dose of Nutri drench last night again.
but last nite she was on the end next to Roo cruched in. I dont know why she keeps falling on to the hard wooden floor. I dont know if she tries turning around or what . I heard her fall again tonight. she was laying on the floor. I picked he up and put her on the clean ray of the poop bd again. Matter fact she crashes to the floor every since I wrote this post. I watched her stargaze agai tonight
How can I tell if she has an ear infection?
The Chicken Health book page 99 said to identify and treat underlying cause if its innner or middle ear. I wish the book had a better index in the back...
I also see that "toxoplasmma" also has such symptoms. Book says no cure. Heck the outdoor cat goes everywhere and prob sneaks into their food...and water....
Plus also maybe she got hit in the head or fell off something. I dont know what they get into when they roam the property
so I dont know what to do for her Tylan? Fish zole? fish amox < unfort that is capsules which I hate for chickens. At least tablets can be brokeen in halfs and put in their mouths.
I hate that she may be suffering and everytimes she falls she prob hits the wall... I wish I had a camera video on her...
I ask Hubby every morning when he feed them and lets them into their big area "is she alive and moving?"
that why this whole chicken business is so taxing and causing so much worrying.
I tell Hubby "maybe the chicken fairy will take them back in time to the Place I bought them"

Take pictures of her organs and abdomen if she dies, and you open her up to look for a cause of illness, is what I meant about taking pictures. That is difficult for some, but a good way to learn about what problems chickens may suffer from. Organs, especially the liver, may have a funny color or spots in certain diseases. There can be egg yolk material or lash eggs present in the belly of sick hens. The condition of the intestines or pressence of worms inside may tell a lot about health. In my only necropsy of a hen who died within two days of becoming ill, I found a blockage of the gizzard from sunflout shells. Your state vet can also perform a much better necropsy for a fee.
In the meantime, you may want to bring her inside in a dog crate, to give her nutridrench and some chopped egg and her usual feed. Plain yogurt added in small amounts can help gut health.

yeah like i mentioned before WE must go thru a vet.. cant just take a chicken to the lab ourselves.. i already talked to them.. Like I mention they all want money thy piece of the pie
yeah but what to doi about her in the meantime ?. she seemed okay while ago... how can I tell what is wrong with her in the meantime ?
she cant keep falling off the roost every nite.

Hubby gave her sister a Nutri drench while ago she been doing no eggs or a mess in the outside dog carrier or on the poop bd at nite. I have to clean it out in a while. I just put new cardboard in it other day
this is about more than gut health....
