I absolutely agree. Couldn't have chickens now without a roo, just for the fact the roosters seem to have ten times more personality than the average hen.
I have had hens that were full of personality. But the boys seem to have more, usually.
And they're so goofy they make me laugh all the time.
Plus they're way less selfish

I agree! I’ve never once seen a rooster come in from outside with a full crop, while his ladies will look like they ate a golf ball...and I have bantams. So that’s huuuuge!!

All of mine including the boys have great personalities, but this is Karen and she has the best personality. She’s also the chick in my profile picture. Everyday she has to perch on me or she gets mad at me lol
