Yah, I though I had one of each. . I lucked out though, he was the only one of the 10 I thought may be a roo.

Well u could always sell him to a good home I did that with mine and I see him still almost everyday I gave him to my neighbors and u still have 9 hens at least that we know of

I'm a softie, so I'll keep him regardless, it'll just mean investing in ways to keep him quiet.

get him a no crow collar from MY Pet Chicken. it should REALLY help. my chicks are coming in 2 weeks and I got one incase I get a oops roo. They even make the collars with little bow ties. I will post a pic for you of it.

did you get the bow tie for him?? Too cute!!!!♡♡♡ I know hatcheries make mistakes from time to time so I wanted to be prepared! really glad to know it's working well for you!! in two weeks I'm getting 7 Barred Rocks, one Silver Penciled Rock, One Golden Cuckoo Maran, and one "Suprise" breed layer. All "supposed" to be female but they give a 10% Error factor with sexing so I wanted to be prepared. incase of a oops rooster.
