Oh no believe me i did i bought a few books i read cover to cover one night (i don't sleep much so i use that time for research), but i don't think there's anything with more information then this website and like to check on things I'm unsure about multiple times to make sure i have no incorrect info. I also have the tendency to anxiety and i worry about my babies constantly i love them so much, my adult birds, all of my other pets and my new baby chicks so i ask a lot of redundant questions.please don't take this the wrong way
it's kind of scary that you order baby chicks with out doing any research first you should know what your in for before hand
you should know what to feed along with how to water them
being prepared having everything ahead of time .
remember these chicks had a ruff ride through the post office
they deserve a nice place to chill like the broader
chicks should be kept in your broader until they start growing feathers .
I kept the broader clean everyday/every other day depending their mess also to keep stink down .
I really liked how the pine shavings worked and how easy they were to clean up
remember do your home work so you can catch up with your chicks
hope your chicks are healthy
And thank you very much I've said the same to the people i know who've gotten chickens on impulse.
anyway yes my birds all seem okay, I'm still worried about Darla's crop but if it still looks off to me in the morning then I'll think more about worrying (if i worry too much now I'll spiral and i can't spiral right now because then i can't function and i need to function for the chicks).
thank you!
