What to do when your child just won't eat?

Sushi is the coolest thing since..........sliced bread

............... oh wait maybe this isnt sushi, I think its nori sushi, or nori nake? or nori rolls? We dont put raw fish in it. But its tasty!

As a mother has been through this it's hard. BUT they will eat when they are hungry, making them eat will only make them fat.

I was raised "old school" . You ate what was on your plate and that was it, when everybody else was done eating you were done as well. The table wasn't for food playing. we ate, talked and moved on. Our kids were raised the same way. I have heard the whinning, i'm not hungry for dinner because i'm full from snacks. No problem get rid of the snacks. Then the other whinning later. I'm hungry because I didn't eat dinner. My answer to that was "you should have eaten your dinner now shut up and go to bed" . Some tough love and training may be in order to solve the issue.

my kids went through this..... the Dr. said when they get hungry they will eat.... no snacks, just serve the meals. I did start giving them some milk in the mornings with the carnation breakfast in it so they get something in them. Then they go through spells where they eat a ton.
